Is there such a thing as a swing for outdoor use initended for younger babies? We're spending lots of time outside and it would be nice to have somewhere to "put" ds2 (4 months) if I needed to set him down for a second to help ds1.

The only ones I have seen are for 9+ month olds. I understand why - the straps are not very secure and it seems like a baby would have to be able to sit confidently to be safe.

I could haul out the regular baby swing, but it is borrowed and I don't want to destroy it by hauling it in and out of the house, iykwim.

I'm also open to other options, if any. There's got to be a better way. It's too difficult to push ds1 on the swing and hold ds2 at the same time :)

Thanks!

Have you checked out the blue plastic bucket swing--probably a Step One toy--we got ours at Toys R Us. It is a blue swing and it has a t-bar with shoulder straps. Ds has been using for 5 years--I think he was only 6 mos when we got it...

Thanks! I guess I shouldn't let the age range influence my decision.
