Quick...DS's bed is arriving sometime this afternoon. We paid to have it delivered and assembled. Do I need to tip? I never know what to do.
Thanks,

nope - I tip movers, but not deliverers.

I tip delivery people, especially if they are setting up the bed.

I once heard the general advice that if people do something for you that you could do yourself, you should tip. I try to go by that in iffy situations like deliveries.

I would generally tip a bit and offer them a soda on their way out, in that situation. I don't know if it is "by the book" or not.

I tip if they are putting together a piece of furniture, amount depending on complexity, difficulty, and/or time it takes to put together.

So a quick job (<10 minutes) would be about $10, and up from there. I do tip better for more considerate/helpful folks.
