Went to the Apple store last night and they sold me $125 worth of Iwork which is WAY beyond my skill level. I was very clear about how computer illiterate I am and am hoping to get them to take it back. What program can I use/buy that is simple for cards/invites? Please help and thank you!

My best friend really likes Print Shop. It came out a few years ago but she's been happy with it. She just upgraded to Leopard and I'm not sure how it has been running for her. She hasn't mentioned any problems.

Here's a MacWorld review from a couple of years ago:

Pages (part of iWork) is actually pretty nice for layout work. Depends on what sort of invitations you want to make. It's a lot easier than trying to convince Word or Powerpoint to do it, certainly!

For invites that are mainly a picture, what about Photoshop Elements? (I think it's under $100...)
