Legacy, manufacturer of baby furniture for approx. 16 years is being bought out again this year. They were previously bought out by Childcraft not too long ago and are, again, undergoing major changes.
This process has caused their lead times to carry over into the several month range. I have several customers who purchased furniture in November of 2007 and are STILL waiting for some of their pieces to arrive.
While you're shopping for furniture, be aware of this ongoing situation as you shop. If Legacy / Childcraft is a brand you are interested in, make certain that the group that you are looking at is IN STOCK at the retailers and a special order is not required. At this point, no one can guarantee even a close estimate of when items will arrive from this manufacturer.
