I didn't know about this forum until now. I have researched Disneyland and Disney Cruise to death... We didn't go on the cruise eventually, but we did go to Disneyland twice already. Here is a map that was very valuable to me when I was pondering which hotel to stay in. You can see how far away each one is from the main gate.

Btw, we stayed at HoJo both times. Love that place! This is a different HoJo than your average HoJo. We agree with all the rave reviews on the various Disneyland chatrooms.
