Fayetteville, NC with kids in August

Hi! First post here...

My family will be spending about 10 days in the Fayetteville/Ft. Bragg area in August. I have a 9 year old and a 6 month old and was wondering if anyone knew of anything fun we could do while we are in the area.

That's pretty close to the Triangle, right? If so, I would make a day trip up to Durham and go to a Bulls' game and go see Duke Gardens. We liked stopping for lunch at George's Garage when we were there:

There are lots of Triangle ideas but that would be a good side activity from Fayetteville.
