We're going up to NH for the holiday weekend to SIL's cabin. It's located in the woods, but on a lake, and I KNOW there are mosquitos! I don't want to go the whole deet route with J, but I also don't want the poor little guy to get eaten alive.
FWIW, he seems to react badly to California Baby ( :( ) but seems to be okay with Burt's Bees.
So what works for everyone else?

We use the Bullfrog sunscreen/mosquito repellant combination.

My pedi suggested the cutter family wipes.

My babysitter used it this weekend and everyone else got bitten but she did not.

I use the Cutter wipes. I can put it where I want and then wash it off when we are done.

I also have some that are individually wrapped.

I purchased some Badger Anti-Bug Balm this spring and we like it quite a bit (much better than the CA Baby I'd been using previously on the girls and myself). DH is a big fan of regular Badger Balm so I don't know why we waited so long to try this! We have all 4 used it successfully.
