Yes, Happy Canada Day to everyone! I am stuck here to introduce DS to his 1st Canada Day alone as DH is cross-border shopping for our new car. I'm taking him for balloons and face-painting this afternoon. Things are fairly tame here in QC :( but I'm hoping they have something we can do together.

Happy Canada Day to everyone! I hear there are going to be fireworks here in Calgary starting around 10:45 - which is far too late for us :(. We will just have to settle for watching some of the Canada Day coverage on tv. And maybe a little Franklin or Bo On The Go or something. :)

Does Canadian Idol count? That was my Can-Con for the day. I had a weird Canada Day - I drove DH to the airport so that he could become a Houstonian :(

I celebrated by seeing how much Canadian cash I had around to cover incidentals during my layover in Vancouver on Friday. $32.65, in case anyone is interested :)
