first four time women's olympian in swimming and if she makes the team this year, it will be her FIFTH olympic games. if she makes the podium in beijing she'll be 41 years old, competing against olympians half her age. and YES, she is setting competitive times even at 41! the woman is amazing.

ETA: oh, and she's a mommy of a 2 year old daughter.

I'm very happy for her and everything but I must say that I was less than thrilled to read Yahoos headline calling her a middle aged mom. She is just over 2 years older than me. How can she be middle aged?
