Jo had her baby!

Jo (of bargains fame) gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on July 4th. She arrived at the hospital at 9cm dilation and her entire labor from start to finish was just over three hours! Mommy and baby Leah Grace are home and doing well.

I couldn't have asked for an easier labor (SO different from Adam's)

I woke up on the Fourth of July thinking "Today is the day"! Contractions started at 7:30 AM. I got in the whirlpool tub and mostly stayed there. By 8:15 they were 4 minutes apart, and by 9:30 they were two minutes apart. We arrived at the hospital at 10:35 AM and I was 9 cm dilated. A few pushes and she was out at 11 on the dot, and I was thrilled it was over in just over three hours.

Adam watched the whole thing and was mesmerized.

She weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces and was 20.75" long.
