Hello, I want to post a request for users to share thier c-section stories (planned and unplanned), tips for prep and recovery, reviews of products including post-partum support belts, remedies for complications, how they handled parenting a newborn while recovering, special issues to consider, etc.

Where would I post that? Or is there something already here? I searched "c-section" and came up with only one thread that actually had to do with it and it wasn't really what I was looking for.

Please advise.
Thanks!

I would probably go to the Lounge.
Welcome!:)

You should probably break your request up into several posts. The more focused your question is, the more likely it is that you'll get the answers you're looking for.

The general questions about c-sections and recovery would probably go in the Lounge. But a question about a support belt belongs in the MomWear section and would get better responses there.

Don't be surprised if you post in the lounge and get pointed to previous threads. There have been a lot of c-sections among the moms here.

Thanks to you both!

Cheryl - if there have been so many posts on c-sections, why don't they show up using the search function? I don't want to duplicate and would be happy to go searching already existing posts. I will try again, but any advice is appreciated!

Most people aren't using to searching on this board (it migrated here from different software a few months ago) -- myself included! (I just know I've seen many a c-section post in the past...)

did you try searching "Caesarean" or "c/s"?

Thanks - yes - had searched c/s with no results. caesarian returns 3. I will check those out :)

c/s is probably too short of a search term.

Try using the "+" sign for adding more terms. For example, try "+section +recovery" without quotes.

If not, just start a new thread and let others find the good ones for you :).
