Shorts & Covers over cute C/D's or C/D's only?

When using super cute AIO's, with pretty colors or prints outside, do you also use bloomers, covers, shorts etc or, in summer, do you let the c/d also be part of the outfit???

For my DD, I will let the diaper cover or AIO be part of the outfit. Not all the time, but sometimes. I don't like the look of dresses with disposable dipes without a cover over them, but with the CDs I don't mind. I don't tend to put DD in tees with just a dipe, though, I'd add shorts in that case. Last summer, when she was tiny, that was an OK look. At 15 mo and running all over, I'm not into it so much.

For DS, after the tiny baby stage, I didn't like the look of him in just a dipe, so I generally put shorts over them, or used wool soaker shorts.

Wool soaker shorts are knit wool shorts, they have to be knit from 100% wool yarn. They act as both diaper cover, and cute outfit.
