I've been converted to non-toxic cleaning. I had ugly stains under the toilet rim and I tried lots of different chemical cleaners. The stains were lighter, but still there. What worked was straight vinegar, I sprayed it under the rim every day for several days - it's sparkling white again. Not only did it work, but it was much easier to do a quick spray over several days than to scrub and scrub and scrub.
I got the book Clean House and Clean Planet. I can easily swap to the soda water for the windows/mirrors, the floor cleaners, the bath and toilet cleaners. I'm having difficulty with an all purpose spray - some of the recipes say to rinse afterwards, I'm not rinsing my counter tops etc. Any good recipes that don't need rinsing.
Thanks.
