We have nothing on our walls! I need to decorate, but I have a fairly low budget. Does anyone have any ideas for me? I am not very handy, so I don't think I can frame my own pictures. Looking for fresh, contemporary framed prints, but not really "modern." Thanks!

Etsy has some great prints for very reasonable prices. I've only bought unframed and put them in cheap frames from Target, etc, myself, but I've been very happy and gotten lots of compliments, and I'm sure you could find framed ones as well.

That's funny, I was looking on Etsy and clicked back over here to see whether anyone had answered. Do you have any suggestions for Etsy sellers? Thanks!

I would love to hear some Etsy suggestions too! I get so overwhelmed.

We have bought some pictures in the past from World Market (Cost Plus) and Pier 1. World Market has framed and unframed. My next project is to print out photographs and put in cheap IKEA frames (family photos as well as some my dad took in Africa). Target has some, but I haven't loved anything I have seen. Also, you can often find cheap prints are art fairs which seem to be popular in the summer months.

Oh, I also have several mirrors and other metal and wood "wall art" type pieces from World Market and Pier 1, not just pictures.

I have seen cute ideas in magazines where they take cool pieces of specialty papers - wrapping, wallpaper, or just stuff you find at a nice stationery store and frame them in groups. Get patterns and solids in the same color group, but with some variation. I am not that brave, but it works in the magazines!

Good luck!

I'm a fan of birds and trees, which this leans heavily towards, but this gives you an idea of what beautiful work you can find at great prices.

Wow-- thank you for all for those suggestions!

You can really get unique things from Etsy for great prices. I've seen great photography (well, I'm no photography expert, but still) for not much money at all. I just get overwhelmed on Etsy so I appreciate these specific suggestions.

Any more Etsy wall art suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

I got alphabet prints for DS's name from kerryberry. She did a custom order for me since the letters weren't listed as available at the time.

These are unframed.
