My dear friend Beth, needs a kidney. We have been friends since college, and she is only 33 years old. She has a son who is 4.5 and a newborn baby girl.

I'm so sorry she's going through this. I have a very close family friend from childhood that has gone through 3 donor kidneys. 2 were from family members, and then her partner was days from donating to her when they got the call that they had a donor kidney for her from someone that had been in a fatal car accident.

She's doing very well w/ her new kidney. She's had such a difficult time. She's been dealing with this for 15-16 years now.

I'll hold your friend in my thoughts.
