Some of these are less than $15. According to SD, Amazon is giving another 20% off at checkout but I didn't test it. FSSS!!

Thanks just ordered 3 pairs of back-to-school shoes and sneakers for $41.00! The 20% was calculated at check-out.

Yep, I was just on slickdeals and saw this. The 20% off works. I just got 4 pairs for $52.

They are going fast. Some pairs in my cart were already sold out when I went to check out . . .

Endless has them for a few dollars more. With the advantages of 1)free overnight shipping w/o minimum purchase 2) 365 day returns w.free shipping--in case you are guessing a future size.

Lilhilly - did you add them to your cart and buy? You could contact Amazon customer service if you didn't get the discount; they're good about fixing these glitches.

Is there a place they mention the extra 20% off? I just bought a pair of sandals for DS at Endless yesterday for $23, and they are $14.89 on Amazon, before the 20% off. I want to get a PM from Endless, and I want the 20% off too.

Thanks!

I did buy -- two separate orders of 2 pair each, because I was nervous about sizes selling out while I was adding things to my basket. Maybe there was a minimum purchase amount I didn't meet? Anyway, I will call and see what they say.

FYI...Endless changed their pm policy a couple of months ago...they won't pm Amazon anymore since it's their parent company.

Endless did stop PMing to Amazon, but you could try and let them know the huge price difference. If they don't, I'd just order from Amazon and return to Endless. Free returns for a year. :) Good luck!

Ok, I just posted that the extra 20% off was only on certain shoes (based on info from SD), but I just saw a banner on Amazon that said, plain as day, that *all* sale shoes sold by Amazon are an extra 20% off. I just e-mailed demanding an adjustment!

Also, don't know if anyone saw my separate post on cashbaq.com, but endless is offering 10 percent cash back through that site. So you could order from endless and maybe make up much if not all of the price differential that way.

Their loss! I am supposed to receive them from Endless today, I will try them on DS tonight and if they are OK, re-order them from Amazon. This is a ridiculous policy though, because you can get a PA from Amazon on stuff you just recently ordered from them, and more than once, if you have the patience to keep calling them back.

How far ahead is everyone buying (i.e. a half size up, a whole size up, two whole sizes up)?

Thanks to the OP - I got a great deal!

When I checked out, my promotional savings only came to be about 15%, so I emailed Amazon to ask about it, but I'm still happy with the price. The banner states:

Get an Extra 20% Off
For a limited time, get an extra 20% off items already on sale direct from Amazon.com. That's up to 75% off original prices. Shop shoes for men, women, and children.

Thanks, OP! I just got 5 pairs for $70. Sneakers and dress shoes. That's about $14 a pair! Wow! I saved a ton of money! I got the 20% discount (didn't have to do anything - it came off at checkout) and free shipping!

WOW! The last time I bought Stride Rite (at the mall) I got 2 pairs for $80. I just bought 5 pairs for $63!!! Thanks, OP!

When I checked out, it showed an extra discount, but not for 20% of my whole purchase. I think 4 out of 5 pairs got the extra amount off. I am NOT complaining, though!

I'm glad everybody is getting some good stuff. I didn't even place an order bc I don't have a printer to print out the size chart and I wasn't sure what size to get. I'm sure they're all gone now!

I decided to pass on this. Last year Amazon ran the same deals and I stocked up on shoes for both kids. Then their feet grew like crazy and they SKIPPED a full size. :irked: They haven't been measured in a few months...not worth it, unfortunately.

That STINKS! I only bought a couple pair for now, but I don't mind buying them at this price because I think the resale value would be comparable to what I am paying in case they didn't fit. I am a big fan of Craigslist.

Off to cry that I missed this.... DS2 needs new shoes yesterday and he has a wide, wide foot.

Thank you anyway to the OP!

I e-mailed about not getting the extra 20% off, and they gave me a $10 promotional credit for a future order. I'd rather they'd adjusted my existing order, but who am I kidding, I'll be ordering something else from Amazon before too long!

Amazon adjusted the price of my current order (one pair did not receive the 20% off for some reason). So, an even better deal! Yippee!!!

Personally, I don't do half-sizes, as they don't seem to last very long and there really isn't much of a size difference between the half and the next size up. But that's just me :)

I try to keep the next two sizes up in the closet for DS. I get his foot measured every so often to make sure the wide hasn't become an extra-wide. So, he's about to go into an 11 and I just purchased a 12 and a 13 in gym shoes (and some size 12 sandals for next summer).

I love you for posting this, and I'm kicking myself for not running to Amazon.com when I first saw your message. I thought -- eh, we don't need shoes -- but then I went later and bought a pair way ahead for Alek. $15 is just too great a deal. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks OP! I was able to get 2 pairs of SRs for DS for $27 that already arrived yesterday. I missed out on SRs for DD1 because I wanted her input on styles now that she has an opinion. I did, however, find 3 pairs of other brands (2 Kenneth Cole Reactions and a Tsubo) last night. I had to email Amazon because I did automatically get the extra 20% off. My total price on the second order should be under $40.

Ok, I just e-mailed them about the 20% and got a price adjustment or credit (not sure) of $10.38, which is more than 20%! My total was $30 so this brings it down to two pairs for $10.xx each! E-mail them and try to get an adjustment!

It's not too late. I just purchased 2 pair for Graham for $30. I would have purchased more, but they only had smaller sizes, not larger. Still some great deals to be had though. Thanks OP.
