Please help! Invitation Wording

I am working on invitation wording for DS's christening and I'm not sure this sounds right.

The invites will be on cardstock I'll be printing 2 to a page and will measure 5 1/2 by 8 1/2

The front will have a pic of ds on it and will say

This precious gift from heaven above will be welcomed into Christ's family with love.
You are invited to attend the christening of
DS's name

and on the inside we'll be giving them a wallet size pic of ds on the left side and the right side will say something like this

On Sunday September 7, 2008
church name
city and state
12:00 pm Mass

Following Mass we will be celebrating with a picnic at

Park Name
Pavilion #
Lunch will be served at 2:00
Please RSVP by Sunday August 31, 2008

and we'll be including directions to the church and park for those who need them.

Please advise!!!! For some reason this doesn't flow right for me.
