Discounts Needed on Baby Jogger City Series (Double)

I am looking to purchase a Baby Jogger City Series Double (maybe the Elite). I see the prices arew fixed, but does anyone know if a website and coupon code that would say get me a percent off my order?

Those are both 2007 BJCSD. They came out with the 2007.5 and newer ones, which have a 3-piece canopy. There are some other differences as well, but I can't remember what they are.

I got my 2007.5 last year when they first came out from letsgostrolling.com

That older model's canopy is WWWAAAAYYY different than the newer ones. My Elite Double does an awesome job of protecting my DC from the sun. Their legs stick out a little, but their faces and arms can be shaded when the sun is at just about any point in the sky. If you're spending that much already, I'd go ahead and get the one with the better canopy.

I think the other updates for the 2007.5 was the recline mechanism maybe and the locking strap? oh, and colors...

Does Moosejaw have any codes anymore to discount them? I know some people bought BOBs there with codes...

As far as I know, Moosejaw no longer lets you apply coupon codes to the strollers. Big Bummer!

I sw that www.thetrendytote.com has the Bobs stollers and has a 15% off code, but when I compared them the BJC looked nicer. Does anyone have an opinion of why one if better than the other?

If you have the time & patience - I waited until ebates had one of the baby stores that carried the BJCSED featured as a daily double. I think I bought ours from BabyAge. I got 6% cash back and then managed to find an online coupon for 5% off a purchase over $400. (Unfortunately I think that coupon has expired.) All in all I think I scored it for around $580 with free shipping and no tax. Of course I looked for that daily double for maybe 2 months because I had the time.

I agree with the pp - get the one with the new sunshade. It's worth the extra $$ and I love ours fwiw.

You can search "city elite" on the left side once you're registered and several stores/options come up. Search them and keep track of the names and watch for the daily double for more savings.
