Question about the Announcements Thread

Do you just take your own pic or do you use a professional pic?

We used our own photo for both kiddos. I've seen both, and professional photos are nice, but the majority of announcements we've gotten have been with photos the family has taken themselves (or maybe had a relative/friend take for them).

:yeahthat: We had a little "photo session" for ours, and laid the boys on a white blanket and just snapped a bunch of pics in a row to get a good one. :)

Took my own...several evenings, many outfits, and a lot of patience to get the "perfect" one

I took my own. It's quicker, cheaper, and I avoid any copyright infringement issues.
