I need to buy a twin aerobed for when my niece visits. I anticipates it will get used around 2 nights per year for the next several years. So, I don't need anything really great, but comfy would be good. ;-)

I see LNT and BB&B both have one for $50. Does anyone have any experience with either? I'm trying to figure out what the difference is. BB&B's mentions a hand pump, while LNT has a pump you plug in. BB&B's also mentions air coils and a velour surface, but I don't know if those are actual differences or if it's because LNT's description is so brief. Anything else?

Here's LNT's: http://tinyurl.com/5tmn4j
and BB&B's: http://tinyurl.com/6gt7ue

Any insights will be appreciated! Thanks!

I don't know if there's a major difference, they both look pretty similar to me. but I would NOT get the one with the hand pump, if it's not plug-in. But I am lazy.

Also keep in mind LnT has a 25% off friends & family coupon FFAUG08 - this would make it less that $40!

My mom has a few aerobeds, not sure where she got them, but they all plug in and are so easy to set up. I would definitely recommend going for ease of use. And BB&B is always sending me 20% off coupons so that would make the price comparable to LNT with their coupon. BTW, I've slept on them and, not sure if they have coils, but they're quite comfortable, but not for extended stays.

I could swear I saw AeroBeds @ Costco, but they were full size. I'm not sure of the price, but I have to go soon and I'll post when I get back.

Can't really seem to tell a difference inthe ones you sent. Agree with PP on the hand pump. The hand held plug in pump is the way to go for inflating and deflating.

Thanks for everyone's response!

I went and saw both in the store, and while they have different names, I swear they are the exact same. Since LNT is having financial problems, I'm going with the one from BB&B.
