Baby Jogger Bug Canopy

The mosquitoes have been really bad this year even during the day. DS got a few bites last week. I have BRU bug net, but DS really can't see out of it. At least, I can barely see him so I assume he can't see out. Sort of defeats the purpose of strolling him around the neighborhood and pointing things out to him.
Does anyone have a baby jogger bug canopy? Is it transparent enough so that baby can see out? Also, how is the fit?
