For those of you lucky enough to have a Trader Joe's in your area, what are your favorite items you purchase? Also, what would your recommend not buying?

I love Trader Joe's and do about 90-95% of my grocery shopping there.

I guess it depends on what you're looking for, but here's a few very random favorite items that are regularly purchased (although some are not consumed by me, but just by DS):

-organic peanut butterbutter
-sunflower seed butter (it's yummy and what I used before DSwas too young for PB)
- chocolate covered peanut butter pretzels
- chocolate covered joe-joes
- chicken taquitos
- organic applesauce
- stoneyfield yogurt squeezes
- Sourdough bread (sliced)
- Gnocchi Alla Sorrentini (in freezer section)
- Peanut Butter Panda Puffs Cereal
- Cat Cookies
- Multigrain Pretzel Nuggets
- Chicken Lasagna (in refrigerated section)
- Watercrackers
- they have several gourmet flavored chicken sausages that are good

Their cheeses and fish are good and good prices on milk

The one thing that I am not a big fan of is their Cheerio-like ceral; I forget the name, but I do prefer actual Cherrios

I really liked their rolled chicken tacos but I think they've discontinued them - one of these days I should ask to confirm, but they haven't been there for months now

Another thing I have seen in a while and really miss is Black Bean chips

I shop there every week. Some of my regular purchases are:

Niman Ranch applewood smoke bacon
Grana Padano Parmesan cheese
sliced apples (easy snack for the kids)
Belgian chocolate pudding
English cucumbers ($1.69 vs. $2.50 at the 'regular' market)
TJ Marinara sauce ($1.09/jar - perfect for quick kid lunch)
Mini pitas - perfect kid size
TJ whole milk kids yogurt (6pk)
***e 2% yogurt (for me)
TJ Greek style plain yogurt (for raita)
TJ Kettle Corn -- so good!
Frozen peas
Frozen potato cheddar pierogies
Frozen french toast - quick weekday breakfast
Frozen naan - very authentic; I make indian food and heat these up alongside to save time

TJ's has the BEST hummus, IMO. I like it in every flavor they have.

Their Belgian chocolate pudding is TO DIE FOR. This is my one indulgence - I'll allow myself a 1/2 cup for my chocolate fix and eat it in little nibbles.

I love their lightly salted regular popcorn.

They had the best dried fuji apples, but they've been really hard to find in the past year. I haven't found anybody to match TJ's since and they were sulfate-free!

The chicken apple sausages - we buy 5 packs at a time and freeze them. They are a favorite of our whole family!
