Balance Board

Okay, looking forward to the holidays...

Does anyone have a Balance Board that their DC loves? We would like to get one for DC this year, but I'm not sure where to start. We definitely would like one piece and not the board on the "log" style. Also, I'm not sure the labrynth one is what we are looking for either. I have seen the monkey and duck version, but they are too small for our child. Any suggestions?

I know that balance boards are often used for children with ADD/ADHD, does anyone know what they use in therapy? Since we are looking for something simple, but that will last for many years...

The OT told me that you can make your own rocker board like the second one at home using plywood and a carpet remnant. Hubby has been planning to do this since last winter, but hasn't gotten to it yet. I need to remind him about this.
