What is the purpose of these, other than to get in the way? I just bought a new king bedding set from Sam's Club and it came with Euro shams. They are way shorter than king sized pillows (just by looking at the pictures, they look smaller than even a queen sized pillow) and they're supposed to be *behind* the king shams and king pillows, so they just look out of place to me. If they were king sized too then I could see the benefit, but they'd still wind up on the floor every night. We had a queen sized waterbed about 16+ years ago and the bedding set that we had then came with Euro shams too. I had to special order the stupid Euro sized pillows because I couldn't find them anywhere else. What's the purpose??
