When to talk about inappropriate touching?

How and when did you start talking to your DC about appropriate/inappropriate touching? Are there any good books that can be recommended? DS1 is almost four, heading off to preschool, going to be spending more time with other children and their parents on playdates, etc. and I know I should be introducing this topic - I'm just not exactly sure where to begin. We've always used anatomical terms for describing body parts, so not really concerned about that, but more about telling the difference between what is good and bad touching. Thanks in advance!

We've already started with DS (he's four) We've really just started planting the seeds...talked about private areas being his private areas, only mommy/daddy/nana touch them in the bath to get clean, or to wipe in the potty, etc.... I wish I could give you more details, but we just did it in a subtle way during a bath and once after an episode of Mr. Rogers mentioned it.
