Bad news first:

This is part of REI's semi-annual sale. Cancelled orders are not unheard of. However, you will get a 20% off any item code if you should receive one of those dreaded cancellations.

Good news (yeah!):

I'm pretty sure $8.83 is the final price. It doesn't say "reduced to:" which means only select colours and sizes are at $8.83. If it was "reduced to", everything - all colours and sizes would be $8.83. REI does this often throughout the year, not just this sale.

Yes, it is confusing. Is it half already or no? I believe it's on.
Earlier, when looking through other items, the price displayed on the grid was 50%. (Eg., reg. $40, $14.83)
When I clicked an item, the product page showed the old price before 50% off. (Eg., $29.83)
When I added it to my cart, the 50% off price showed again. (E.g., $14.83)

Secondly, Kid's Keen sandals are also on sale: $12.83 to $17.83.

I just got navy mary janes for 10.79 - I pricematched to endless to avoid the shipping (and make sure it doesn't get cancelled!)

I'm new to their website and totally confused about their size. I have been eyeing on Keen Sandals for my son. He is 4 year old and wearing size 9-10. I want to get a pair for next summer with size 11 or even 10. Should I order their 11k (i think k for kid) or 5T (is T here means age or toddler?). I ahve hard time to find answers from their site. I know you moms know everything. Can someone tell me? TIA

My 4 yr old daugther has Keens this summer. She's in a 9.5 in Stride Rite and others, but her Keens are a 10. They tend to run a bit small, so you're probably safer sizing up a little. I ordered her an 11 for next summer. I would definitely go with an 11 or maybe even a 12 for your son, depending on if he's closer to a 9 or 10 right now.

I just got back. No croclings, kid crocs in red/blue/orange for 8.83. Some girl colors too and kid MaryJanes but I have boys :) Adult crocs were on sale but not the Mary Janes well they were 19.93.

LOTS of other stuff though too. I got a Columbia winter coat for me for $40 and a North Face one for DH $80. Tons of clothes too.

DH is going to die.

I saw sea blue, orange, red, and little girl mary janes in light blue.
They had some adults in clearance.
They also had some really cute kids Tevas, Reef flipflops and the keens.

The Mountain View, CA REI has a bunch of Red, Coral (orange) and Sea Blue kids' Cayman Crocs in the store. Be sure to ask if they don't have the size that you want -- the nice REI guy said they had a bunch in back and someone had actually organized them by size so things were easy to find. They are marked $19.xx on the rack, but ring up at $8.83. And I discovered that they have a price scanner so I could stop bothering the nice man.

There were a few adult sizes, but I didn't check to see if they had any in back (since I was just there for the kid sizes).
