OK, so the girls came home from daycare today with these:

Funny, I saw them on J&K+8 and thought they would be fun.

Anyway, just the eggs came home, no instructions. I already called the daycare and they just told me to put them in water 12-24 hrs and then they hatch and the pet gets quite big.

I put them in drinking glasses. They float to the top, so I put a smaller glass on top to keep them submersed. Is this what I'm supposed to do?

I have a glass salad bowl that I could use if the toys get quite big. But, how do I keep them under water???

I am waaaaay over thinking this.... Sigh.

I thought the same thing about submersion. Don't worry. They will get big even being half out. Do put them in a bigger bowl vs. glasses. They take a little longer to hatch than promised IME. YOu can take them out, let them shrink and then grow them again. This has been a long lived toy!

it doesnt have a hole at the top or bottom? it should because then it fills up w/water. we do these often and the kids love them

I switched to the large bowl. Should be interesting!
