What type of bedding do you useon your bunk or loft beds? We'll use regular twin sheets but are there blankets or quilts that just lay across the top? Don't want to deal with making the bed.

we just recently purchased a bunk bed and although dd doesn't sleep on the top yet, i'm also wondering what to do about the bedding. because of the side guard rails, there isn't any space for her duvet to hang over the sides (or be tucked into the sides between the mattress and rail). i am thinking about making a blanket that is exactly the size of the top of the mattress and using a fitted sheet to match the bedding (duvet) on the bottom bunk (since the fitted sheet shows on the sides).

We just let the top blanket be rumpled. LOL!

:yeahthat: i never even really thought to look for bunk bedding and was never concerned. in general they just use throw blankets or piles of other fleece or knitted blankets. i do plan on getting them down comforters this year, but even then i don't think i'll find it being bigger an issue.
