They're youth sizes - my 6yo DS is in a size 2 and my 6yo DD is in a 1.

Just went to my local REI and they "were" on sale for $5.83 yesterday according to the cashier. However, he gave them to me for $5.83 because they still had the tags up that said $5.83. They only had purple, brown and pink just like online with limited number of sizes.
