In my year-long attempt to get DS potty trained (now 3 yrs 7 months old), I have finally done it!!
DS was so hard to potty train because he is so stubborn and just refused to do it. Everyone said not to force him that he will do it on his own... Well, this past weekend I basically forced him - I told him that we were all out of pull-ups (hid them in the closet) and told him he could either wear underwear or go naked. He chose the underwear (with some tears and protest, but he did it). Well, obviously he was totally ready and able to be PT, because he had a few accidents the first day and no accidents after that! He's even waking up from naps dry and was basically dry last night while he slept. Woo hoo!!!
