I am hoping to get in shape asap after baby because I am doing a show 4 months after my due date. Does anyone have a good book that goes through some exercise/diet that is based on post partum physiology?

I do not have a book but I lost 55 lbs in 7 months with no diet, minimal exercise . . . and breastfeeding. I exclusively breastfed and the weight came off very quickly. It was not four months quickly but I had more to lose than most people . . .
Otherwise, I would recommend less carbs/more lean proteins - - though nothing extreme like Atkins, limit your juice and eat fruit instead, limit sweets. Nothing is as body-changing for me as running and pilates, though you can't do either of those immediately post-partum, but I think 6-8 weeks out is OK. Swimming is wonderful exercise and I love it but it does not produce rapid changes like running.
