Erasable pencil?

Does it exist? I mean one that does not just smear or rip holes into paper.

Please point me in the right direction.

I am raising a perfectionist-kindergartner, the pencils we have do not cut it ...

I find that most of the erasers on pencils don't work very well. I really like the pentel clic eraser. I use mine all the time at work. It rarely rips the paper!
