I'm posting this here b/c babyproofing doesn't get a lot of traffic. I'm looking for and can't find IRL or online a lightswitch babyproofing cover. I thought I had seen one at one point that goes of the whole switchplate. We have a gas fireplace that turns on with a switch. I'd tape it, but we'd like to use it wo/having to take the tape off every time.

I remember seeing something for that at Home Depot or similar. I need to get one too as DS has taken to turning off our water heater--not cool!

I looked at BRU, Target, Walmart, Home Depot, and online but came up empty handed

Not sure if this is what you were looking for?
We bought the "Light Switch Guards" from the Improvements catalog

http://www.improvementscatalog.com/product/light-switch-guard.do

They worked well to keep DS's little fingers off an oddly-placed
light switch that was within reach of his crib;
of course, now that he is older, he could pry them off if he wanted to,
but he has no interest now.

ETA: Sorry, my clumsy fingers added an extra character the first time I added the URL;
hopefully this one will work now!

Sounds like what I need, but the link didn't work.
