6pm shoes...thanks and need an opinion

I got my shoes today...a pair of reefs and a pair of privos.....Thanks so much!!! My only regret is that I did not order a pair of privos in black....now I am thinking of placing another order for these....but what kind/color of socks would I use....tia!!!

My opinion is that you would only wear black socks or bare feet. I have an older pair of privos...only VERY thin socks work for me.

I was just coming to post a thanks too! I got a 2-pr set of reefs, and a pr of charles david heels that I need like a hole in the head. But I LOOOOOVE them, and hopefully will get to wear them at least once this year for something.

anyways, to answer your question. With these kinds of shoes I usually wear black socks, or something black w/a pattern. not trouser socks but crew socks I guess? One that come up to your shins. I don't know what the "style" is called!

I am still waiting on my privos from shoetrader, I think those shipped via carrier pigeon... really slooooowwwww.

I have them in black and love them. I go sockless, haven't had a problem with blisters or anything. Wearing with socks would look a bit odd to me but that's just my opinion.

$25 is a great deal. I think I paid twice that a few months ago.

Oooh. I like those. May order them for myself. I'd wear thin trouser socks, but I'm fashionably illiterate. On occasion, I'd maybe find myself wearing some Thorlo runners in them. yuk.
