You guys are so creative here. I hadn't even thought about it until someone asked recently. My boy/girl twins will be 2 weeks short of 1yo on Halloween. Any creative costume ideas for me (something easy is even better :) )?

What are your older kids dressing up as?

thing one and thing two was the first thing I thought of

http://www.amazon.com/Dr-Seuss-Thing-Juvenile-T-Shirt/dp/B000JI827G

http://www.justmultiples.com/suess-red-tees.html

a bumblebee and a flower or ladybug

a fireman and a dalmation

princess and a knight

boy/girl pirates

cowboy/cowgirl

cowboy(or cowgirl) and indian (indian princess)

two farm animals... cow,duck,sheep,pony,chick,

Mickey mouse and Minnie mouse

dorothy and toto or tin man or lion or scarecrow

I suppose there are a lot of movie/show characters that you could do

winnie the pooh characters .... maybe piglet and pooh or tigger or roo

Check this site out that I just found... cute pics

Woody and Jessie from Toy Story.

Last year there were 2 young kids (maybe about 3 though, so you could save the idea for a few years down the line) dressed as Sandy and Danny from Grease, they were the cutest things I ever saw, the girl had a blonde wig and black leggings and stretchy black top and clip on earrings (maybe a bit much I guess but it looked cute!) and the boy had jeans and white t-shirt and greased back hair and they both had little black leather jackets too. They won the town costume contest.

We found these through the Disney site- Minnie and Mickey- almost like sweat suits. The babies didn't mind them and I thought they looked adorable. However, when we went to our Multiples Halloween Party- we were one set of 6 twins in various Minnie/Mickey outfits.

Are your twins walking yet? Our twins were 5 months old for their first Halloween. We decorated 2 cardboard boxes to look like a pair of dice. Our girls sat in the boxes with their heads peeking out and watched all of the trick-or-treaters coming and going. They LOVED sitting in the boxes and had a ball.

Other ideas:

Thing 1, Thing 2
salt and pepper
ketchup and mustard

First thing that popped into my head was Thing 1 and Thing 2. Looks like I'm not alone.

Last year a friend with multiples dressed her kids in dalmation costumes and then dressed up as Cruella Deville. It made for very cute pictures, but the fact that she dressed up too really helped complete the look.

This year ds1 is dressing as a fire fighter and baby (to be born any day now....) will be a dalmation.
