A friend of ours sent us a whole box of games her kids had outgrown. Most are labelled Windows 95/ 98 and the boys computer has Vista. Are they compatible?

TIA!

Ww have Windows XP and we put old Pajama Sam games on there that are rated for Windows 3.1 or higher and they work fine. :)

Sometimes, sometimes not. Just try it out. But Sarah was bitterly disappointed after buying some non-compatible games at a yard sale once.

That's what DH says too. Vista is a new OS, so you really just have to try each one out.

Thanks everyone!
I guess I will have to try them all out when they are at school. No need to get them all excited if we are not sure if they will work. If they don't, I will offer them up on Swap, so stay tuned...
