hi everyone, I bought a Mini Sling Tote (new, not second) about 2 years ago. This bag is used very lightly - only in the spring/summer and not every day. I'm not a heavy packer.
Back in June I noticed that the shoulder straps were fraying and detaching from where they meet the bag (the vinyl coated area), in two places. I contacted Fleurville and they said "Sorry about this issue. Unfortunately, after 2 years after purchase we would consider this normal wear and tear and not a workmanship defect covered under warranty".
I have to say I'm disappointed, I have 2 other Fleurvilles that have been used equally, if not more without any issues. I also tried contacting the retailer but it looks like she is no longer in business.
They did offer me 30% off another bag, but I really don't want to buy another bag, I just want to get this one fixed. I'm surprised they aren't willing to help.
I'm just curious if anyone has experienced this or other quality issues.
