Christmas Tree Shopps... what to buy?

One just openned here. What do you get there? Ad makes it look like a cross between Five Below, the Dollar Store and Big Lots, am I right?

I'd say it is a step up from the Dollar Store (I don't know the other stores you mentioned). I buy a lot of decorations there. Nothing lasts more than a couple years but that's my attention span anyway.

It's hit-or-miss.

Good for Halloween & Christmas decorations.
For Hanukkah they get in one little rack that sells out immediately at my local store, another store 45 min away has a lot more
Gift wrap, Christmas boxes, bags
I got inexpensive bins for shelves in our basement
I get window decorations for DD (the gel ones that stick on)
Sometimes good books, got Shel Silverstein's Runny Babbit or $4.99 at Easter
Had Jessica Seinfeld's cookbook for $7.99
Cheap picrture frames
Coloring books
Dress-up stuff for girls (tu-tu's)
Summer- sandbox stuff, bubble stuff, plastic outdoor dinnerware.

I agree with Addiesmom about what's good to buy there... but, keep in mind, if you see something you like, get it, because it won't be there next time you go.
I'm totally kicking myself for not buying extra planters last spring, because one broke and 2 would have looked great on my stairs.

Where is this new Christmas Tree Shop???
