OK, I was never a cheerleader -- I know you all find that very hard to believe (where is the snarky smilie when I need it?). However, DH brought DD#1 a cute cheerleader costume from his trip to Omaha, so DD#1 wants to be a cheerleader for Halloween. Great -- costume is done, happy day. Except she needs pompoms. WHERE do I find pompoms? I don't even know what kind of B&M store to look at. Is that a dollar store thing or ???? I was at our local dance supply store and they didn't have any cheer stuff.

Help!

Thanks ladies. We have loads of dollar stores and a great party store nearby. I will check them out. I wouldn't have thought about the party store. Guess I don't go to the "right" parties, LOL.

Also, perhaps a fan merchandise store for the BC Lions, if you don't mind their logo ...

Orange and brown would clash with the red & navy cheerleader outfit. THANKFULLY.

Hmmm, we just got our first SuperWM. Will have to check them out. Were they in the kids section or the Halloween costume section?

Around here party stores convert to costume stores for Halloween. ;)

Aslo, cheerleadingand HSM are popular party themes, so they are popular as favors.

You could always order the real deal through teamcheer.com. I've made cheerleading costumes for Halloween and ordered their in-stock poms to go with the costumes. A bit more expensive than a party store, but so worth it in the dress-up potential category. My nieces play with theirs all the time.
