emoticons, how do you see which ones this board has? When I hit reply or new thread, I don't see any option for the usual pop-up with available smilies. I only have the one at the bottom for the post icon.

I feel so dumb. Help!

I know that i will only get the smileys when i hit post reply when i reply, instead of hitting quick post. I think i remember there is something in your control panel that has to be clicked on ?

I think what you need to do is go into your control panel, and edit options. Under there, there is an option for editor mode. You need to switch that from basic to advanced or enhanced or something like that.

ETA: It's under miscellaneous options at the bottom. I use the Enhanced editor, I'm not sure if you get the smilies in the standard editor or not.
