Hi All!
Just thought I'd post my recent findings in the PLASTIC category. We have a E&A Kitchen with M&D food in DD#1s room. She isn't willing to "share" with the twins right now. They are sad to say the least so I'm getting antsy for XMas and researching right now. They are pretty aggressive chewers too so durability and size is key right now. MIL has a set of Learning Resources food in her class and they are quite realistic. They are easy to identify and should help me out with introducing new foods to them. They really like them and enjoy sticking them in their mouths. They almost seem pleased with being able to "eat" cake all day. Much better then giving them the real thing I say! ;) So I was all set to start waiting around for a good deal on a Learning Resources set but then I found some great competition! YIKES! What do you all think? Oh, and please post your review if you have seen them or have these. Thanks!
If you have big realistic play food do they fit in your pots pans and dishes? Can I get a way with the Step2 pots and pans that came with my craigslist kitchen? I know they wont mind now but I'm taking later...

Lake Shore Learning: Are the food baskets Learning Resources brand? Haven't seen the eggs anywhere else. What about their Best Buy Assortment stuff? Are those Lake Shore Learning Brand? They are quite cheap! Same size?

Constructive Playthings: WOW! Those white appliances would go great with a Step 2 kitchen. They are Let's Pretend by Educational Insights. They have different colors on Learning Resources (Kid Safe) and Lake Shore Learning. And look at the Feast from the East! Very Cool! And the Pretend Bake n Play has BROWNIES!!!! And the Healthly Meals for two, perfect for twins. Wonder what brand that is? Dang I was in the store a couple years ago but was looking for WOODEN stuff so didn't give the food a second look. Anyone near the store or have seen these?
