Has anyone seen these? I have a severe metal allergy and haven't been able to wear any earrings or other jewelry with any metal on it. I haven't tried platinum (guess why?!?) but I am wondering if I could buy earrings with wood posts (or maybe plastic?). I just love to try anything cheap that is metal free so that my holes don't grow in (may be too late). Any other recommendations would be helpful. I can't wear my wedding rings either.... :32: Thanks!

What about nylon earrings? I have worn nylon in the past.

I have never heard of wooden earrings though. Searching Yahoo came up with these, it appears they have a special wooden post.

As for the wedding ring- wood or tattoo? No help on that.

Thanks so much...I will check those links for sure. I have just about given up on wearing my rings, but I may try titanium since it is cheap.

If anyone else is in a similar predicament, I also found some on Amazon called "medical plastic" that sound promising. I'll report back once I make a purchase!

Kath THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am so excited the third link you sent me has some tiny wooden hoop earrings for only $6! They look really cute! I had seen some on Etsy for a LOT more so this will give me a cheaper chance to try them out. For some reason your google skills must be much more refined than mine! Thanks so much for the help!
