Where can I find the best price on a teething guard for my 4-in-1 convertible Munire crib? My son just started gnawing on the front edge and I don't want him to ruin the bed, since I plan on using it as a regular bed for him later and, plus, I don't think it's good for him to eat wood/furniture stain!

I looked online but only found cloth ones on Ebay for about $30 to $70. Is there anywhere else to buy them? Thanks!

Ikea has them in-store. Not sure if they are on the website. So, I guess that only helps if you have an Ikea close by.

We bought ours at BRU.

My kids were cosleepers so we didn't use one. When I was working in early intervention I knew a family that had one, and their DD fell down while biting on a teething guard and she actually pulled 2 of her teeth out. I just thought I'd mention it as something to watch out for...I wouldn't think it happens very often, but this woman said the child's pedi dentist said he's seen several cases (maybe he was just trying to make her feel better ;) )

I also have the Munire and my son has ruined it. He was able to stand really young and I tried everything to get him to stop eating the crib.

I tried to find one of those plastic ones but seems the ones that BRU are only good for drop rail beds. Then I tried the Gummy rail from Right Start but he was able to lift that up after 1 day. Maybe it doesn't stick too well to Munires, who knows. I would suggest the fabric ones, they probably will stay put.

I bought the gummy rail from One Step Ahead for my daughter. It's been on her crib for over a year and has worked great.

BRU has them in-store, but I wouldn't recommend them-- DD quickly figured out how to pull them all off one by one (she was about 11 mos them). We never bothered with another.

I know American Baby Company has one on their website. I first saw it in the store where I bought by cribb. I won't fit that well on the crib that I bought, but with a little tweaking, it will work. The website is:

You have to look under the Terry Collection.

Would you consider the Breathable Baby Crib Shield:

That looks great. Wish I would've seen that a few months ago. I even had the breathable bumper!

I think Prince Lionheart makes a BPA free one. I believe Buy Buy Baby carries it. HTH
