I want to buy some princess dresses for dd for Christmas. (She's already decided to be a fairy for Halloween.) I noticed they are now on sale for $25, down from $40. Will there be further mark-downs, or is this it? Also, if I wait, do I risk not being able to find her size?

(I'm specifically looking at the Disney store costumes.)

I got several 3-4 years ago for $10 right before Halloween. But I haven't seen them that well priced before being totally gone since then. I bought several in size 6-6X and they were long at first but she has been able to wear them pretty much since I bought them and they still fit!

Of course they go the cheapest right after Halloween, but it sounds like you probably need them before for this year. I bought a couple of costumes the day after Halloween at the Disney Store for either 40% or 50% off last year.

That's good to know... will have to remember to check the website as part of my after Christmas shopping! I'll buy one outfit for Christmas and stock up on others for other gift-giving occasions.

I recently saw Tinkerbell and Minnie Mouse costumes at the online Disney store for $15. In stores, I once found very nice costumes for $10 after Halloween. The timing/pricing is hit or miss so you will need to check often.
