I would like to put together a science package for DS (who is almost 5) for Christmas. I would like to include some kind of science encyclopedia with it. Any suggestions?

Not a full encyclopedia but we have this book and my now 7 year old DS loves reading about how things work!

we don't have this one... but it's all about the Human Body!

We have a couple of the smaller Usborne Encyclopedias (Space, Dinosaurs) and those are nice.

We also have a couple atlases which she enjoys reading, the Usborne Children's Picture Atlas and the National Geographic Beginner Atlas.

She has been slowly making her way through the DK Eyewtiness Animal Kingdom encyclopedia (very large) but it doesn't seem to be available any more.

We also have a Disney First Encylopedia of Nature and she loves that too.
