Costco membership?

I heard an ad on the radio on the way to work this morning that you could buy a Sam's Club membership good through the end of the year for $10 (10 weeks = a dollar a week). Does anyone know if Costco does anything like that? I would love to get some things for Christmas, but we don't get out there enough to pay for the full year.

Costco does not generally offer such incentives. Unless they have recently changed something, I can't recall such a discount ever being offered here.

I would see if you can shop with a friend for a few things if you don't want to get your own membership.

They do offer a money back refund if you buy a membership and don't think you'll get enough use out of it. Also you can get the costco gift cards and shop with those without a membership. However you do need someone with a membership to buy the giftcards for you.
