J is getting tubes and hernia surgery this week, and I need to keep him still, and little brother. TV/Movies are my at home options. Any good recommendations? Just joined Blockbuster.com.

Thanks!

-Pretty much any Pixar movie
-Garfield (the live action ones)
-Alvin and the Chipmunks (again, the live action ones)
-maybe Homeward Bound
-any TV shows he likes? You can order seasons of shows.
-National Treasure (no one dies, very tame movie but fun)
-Star Wars (original trilogy)
-The Shaggy Dog

If I think of more I'll post them. I hope all goes well!

DS's favorite movie is Cars. Even an adult can sit through multiple viewings. We're having surgery here this week too and I hadn't thought about picking up a new movie so I'm glad you asked the question!

Check out the Miyazaki/ Studio Ghibli films.

I think My Neighbor Totoro is fine for young ones. Kiki's Delivery Servide and Howl's Moving Castle should be okay too. IMO

Or any of the Wallace and Gromit videos.

We need movies other than our fav's and this fit the ticket!

By the way, our favorites are:
Cars (on our second DVD)
Finding Nemo
Peter Pan
Curious George

I tried to remember some of my favorites, I ordered Dumbo, Pete's Dragon, Lady and the Tramp,... in addition to the great suggestions from all of you. Keep them coming!

DS is 4.5 and really enjoys the Speed Racer cartoons (note there are fights and "bad guys") and his fav Disney are Jungle Book and Robin Hood. We're also watching The Great Pumpkin.

Whoops forgot the very favorite!
Charlie and the Chocolate factory, both the old and new version.

Also, Hot Wheels Acceleracers. We got the 4 pack for cheap at Costco awhile back and they are really fun. DS liked them so much I bought him the soundtrack.
