I've tried a few of the kind that you pop into the outlet but my boys are very adventurous and can take them out. ANy thoughts on the outlet covers that slide to hide the outlet?

We have the mommy's helper ones. No one bothers them. They must be non-exciting :)

We use the Kidco Standard Outlet Covers. They slide and they rock. I've probably bought 25 of them for use all over the house. DD has never tried to mess with them at all. Since the outlet cover slides shut immediately when not in use, I don't have to worry about covering it back up when I'm finished.

Plus, I was always breaking a nail on the ones that just plug in to the outlet :-) Using a butter knife to pry them out didn't seem to be a good idea...

Where did you get the Kidco covers from? TIA

It looks like the MH Safe Plate (that we have) and the Kidco ones are basically the same thing.

We got them from Baby Center and we also ordered the Kidco adhesive magnet locks with them. EVERYONE who comes to our house is amazed how easy they are for adults to work.

I ordered some of ours from BabyCenter or Baby Universe one, then I found a local independent toy store that stocks them too. Looks like the white ones are on a great sale at Babycenter now! (I just paid $3.99 a piece for 2 new almond colored ones on Monday at the toy store.)
