I *might* have a baby shower thrown for me. Don't worry I'm loved...lol...but I live far away from my friends and family (me- California them- Texas) and it is hard for me to get away from work.

I was curious to know what you all wore to your baby shower. I want to be prepared. I would want my baby shower to be casual...a tee and jeans or a casual dress. I have seen ladies wearing supercute tees with adorable sayings on them but I can't seem to find any in the maternity stores I have looked at.

My baby shower would be in South Texas so even though the months are a bit cooler now its still hotter than heck down there. Do any of you have any suggestions, pictures or links?

Thanks!! :)

I just wore a cute wrap dress. I always look for an occasion to wear a dress though. :) Here's a cute one from Old Navy:

I bought ds's big brother t from this site and they have some maternity ones:

I also like something slightly more interesting and fun than a simple t, like this Old Navy top:

Have fun!

Oh sweet! I didn't even know that Old Navy carries maternity clothes! I am going to totally check them out when I start to need them. I *love* the tees! Thank you thank you!!!

I wore (4 yrs ago though) black pants with a cami and blazer, with a pair of black flats. I kind of went between dressy and casual.

Congratulations!

I think you can't be too dressy for your own shower -- as long as you're not too, too fancy. I tended to wear casual dresses and nice sandals. I also just realized I wore pink to every one of them....guess I wanted to reflect the color scheme of my girly showers! Funny!

I was slow to "show" as people expect you to, and I wasn't into wearing traditional maternity wear. I had a lot of black stretch, etc. BUT I did go out and shop for specific tops that were more belly-accentuating for my showers. I felt more festive in them, and the belly was more apparent in photos. I also wore blue-green since I was expecting a boy.

It was spring for me & I wore a "Scrapbook" dress w/ a low slung bright yellow belt under my belly w/ a pair of leggings.

It was comfy yet pulled together :)
