Ebates ?

I'm new to ebates and couldn't find this on their site...maybe someone here has some experience?

Is the only way to get your ebates credit to link thru the ebates website? I just ordered from Pottery Barn and had to link thru an email to get a discount. Is there a way I can add it after the fact to my ebates account? I know Fat Wallet has something you can add to your favorites to click to see if the website you are using participates and you can add it later if necessary. Does ebates offer this?

I don't think you can do anything after the fact - except cancel and reorder through ebates. Maybe I'm mistaken, though.

What I usually do for things like that - like with Shoebuy for instance...is click through the email and put whatever I want in my cart. Then, I open ebates and click through ebates to open the site through them. When I open my cart in that window, the discount and the products are there. Did you try that?
